I have just been given IPOD for xmas (lucky me) and now want to record the tracks i have on media player on to it. How do i convert my WM files to WAV or MP3. I've tried and failed and now ask for help!! PLEASE

What iPod software are you using Musicmatch or ITunes.

I use ITunes it can convert the wma to mp3 for exporting to the iPod.

iTunes has been available for the PC for a while now. It can be downloaded click here and is much better than MM

I use itunes with windows.
As said above, I think you just export from itunes. There are also a number of ipod manual-type books about that may help. I don;t know if anyone recommends any particular one?

In ITunes you need to go to Files>Add Folder to library and direct it to where all your wma files are stored.

Another method would be to download dbpoweramp click here this will convert the wma to mp3 which you can then add to iTunes.
