Hey guys i need help i`ve just cleaned my pc up and i must have deleted somthing i shouldnt have. On my device manager my multimedia audio controller has a big yellow question mark on it. I`ve tried to update the drivers by searching my computer fo them and letting the computer access the internet, that didnt work. I built my computer myself and i`m sure ive had this problem before. Anyway i have a fujitsu siemens computers motherboard and i`m running xp pro. Please help me resolve this. Thank you.

It sounds like a driver for a soundcard.

If it's an onboard sound card (built into the motherboard) update the driver in device manager with the motherboard driver cd in.

If it's an add-in card then put the driver cd in for that and update.

i`ve tried the mainboard cd i had with it and that wont resolve the problem, i`m currently downloading a driver off my mainboards website, hope it resolves it. Anymore suggestions in the meantime would be superb.

Try completely uninstalling it via device manager and rebooting.
