My computer provider has sent me a leaflet regarding Multi Environmet Terminals. Thet are supposed to be a replacement for a PC terminal. they don't have a H/D CD Rom or floppy. Anybody got ant info on how they work?
my guess is that it's just a client system, with a small linux based OS stored in a flash ram chip, that connects to the internet and runs any applications from there . With the .net framework this could be a useful cheap alternative to a PC for anyone who uses it as primarily a communication device.
