MSN/Windows Live Messenger games problem

When I used to be with AOL and used to use MSN Messenger, I could never get the Games to work.

As AOL allegedly uses non-standard protocols I couldn't understand why it still doesn't work as I'm with Zen now and they use standard protocols AFAIK?

Above is what I see and when I select the last option

"I was trying to play a game in MSN Messenger", a message comes up on screen along the lines of:

"Games are currently unavailable. Please try later"

I *do* have a MSN Passport account and wonder if that has anything to do with it?

Has anyone else ever had this happen to them?

You mean click here ?

In which case I don't get it!

Ah. I think I know what you mean as you are probably hinting that Windows Live Messenger might have a few teething problems!

I used to get that happening when I used to use MSN Messenger by the way before Windows Live Messenger was released!

What I really meant was that msoft seem to be preventing the use of msn messenger to promote the transfer to windows live messenger

I *am* using Windows Live Messenger as I upgraded yesterday!
