Whiteboard allows you to draw and type simultaneously with someone else. You both must be using Windows XP. You do not have to request control of the whiteboard; you can type or draw at any time unless one of you has clicked Lock Contents on the Whiteboard Tools menu.
In the Messenger main window, right-click the contact with whom you want to start using Whiteboard, and then click Start Whiteboard.
When you are in a conversation, click Start Whiteboard in the right sidebar.
Once the invitation is accepted, a small Sharing Session box opens on both people's computers that shows your connection status. Once you are connected, the Whiteboard window opens on your computer screens.
