Hi, whenever I open msconfig from 'run' the window disappears after just a few seconds. Has anybody any idea why this may be occuring? Thanks, F.T.

Thanks VoG, Im sorry, I just saw that you gave that solution to another post that I had previously not seen. I will let you know if that solves the problem.

Thanks a lot.

I opened Task Manager and terminated a process called IAmSad.exe. That sorted the problem. Does anyone know anything about this???

Thanks, F.T.

Thanks. That seems a little strange though since I dont use Kazaa or any P2P sharing software. I have never heard of the apps suggested by that Sophos page. Any other way I couldve got that virus?

Thanks VoG

Try an online scan with Panda click here

Ive never done an online scan before. Do I need to be at all concerned about security issues or should I always use the Panda online scan without hesitation?

Panda online scan is fine - no need to be concerned.

Ok, thanks. Im still a little concerned about how this virus has appeared on my computer though...

Is Panda better than most other computer scanning apps? ANy other recommendations for preventing these type of viruses from cropping up on my laptop again?
