MS Home and Student on new PC

Hi All,

Just bought a Toshiba Satellite P300-1C9 and it has Microsoft Works installed. When you open Works one of the programs is Office Home and Student 2007 which is not normally included with Works. There is nothing at all to say or indicate that it's a trial version and it requires the usual 25 digit key. It's not underneath the computer were you would expect it to be nor on any enclosed documentation.

Where can I find this key or can anyone confirm whether it's a trial version or not? Also installed, separate from Works, is a 60 day trial of Office 2007 which explicitly states it's a trial.

Hi Bremner,

Bought it at John Lewis. Only set it up last night and I suppose it must be a trial. I was clearing the junk out and thought I'd ask here before deleting MS Works which I don't want

Further enquires confirm that it is a trial. Thanks for your help.
