Mpeg Audio

Could anyone advise me the best application to use for separating the sound track from and MPEG movie file and then discarding the picture element. Thanx.

I am running on Windows XP Pro P4 1.4 Ghz with 650 Mb RAMBUS and 40 Gb Hard Drive so hardware is not a problem.

Also, is it illegal to separate audio from visual?

Try virtuadub, I got it from a mate but do a search in google and you should find a website offering d'l.

As for the legality issue, its probably the equivalent of closing your eye's while watching a movie :p. i.e. its legal as long as you dont distribute or publish in your name.

I assume that as there are no replies to my enquiry, then the answer must be obvious. It is not obvious to me though, so, I'll try elsewhere. Thankyou.
