Hi Room
I`ve been told that it is possible to put loads of albums onto one standard 80 minute cd r.

The tracks i want to put on are from other cd`s (not mp3`s) so i want to know how to convert the cd tracks to mp3 format and then do they have to be compressed to fit all the albums onto one disc

Can anyone help please and is it possible to put say 20 albums on one disk

You can put as many MP3s onto a disk as you want provided you don't exceed 700megs (create a data disk for the mp3s)....

You could use Nero Wave which is part of the Nero Burning ROM....

The average 3-to-4 minute mp3 file is around 5megs

You could also use Acoustica from click here for coverting the files to MP3

if you are using WMP10, you can rip your cd's to mp3, but to put 20 mp3 cd's onto 1 cd, you would have to lower the quality of the mp3 music.

128kbps is a decent quality standard, and will allow you anything between 10 to 15 albums, (depending on length).

You just save the folders as data files with nero. (or other burning software)
