MP3 Question

I've recently tried copying some MP3 audio files onto CD. It's the first time I've done this and something is baffling me. I'm using Nero 5.5. When I try to burn say 20 tracks onto a standard 700mb cd, the aloted time warning strip at the bottom of the nero page warns me that I've gone 'into the red'with my playlist. The total size of my playlist is only 125mb so surelly I should be able to burn 5 times this amount of tracks on a CD. Why does nero say I've overloaded the disc???

where you trying to in the CD setup bit to burn an audio or data CD? If you are wanting to burn an MP3 CD make sure it is a data one. or (if you have the updated 5.5 that it is an MP3 cd not an audio one
