I have a problem i use Mozilla Firefox browser and when i go to ebay,my browser does'nt remember where about's on the page i was when i hit the go back button,It always takes me to the top of the page which is a bit of a problem when i'm looking at things well down the list.
What happens is that when you hit the back button, the page is refreshed, rather than using the cached page stored on the computer. I've tried the same in Opera browser and when you try the same, the cached page this called and the page is not refreshed, so you go back to where you were on the previous page.
That I think this is the explanation, but I don't know how to change the preferences in Firefox, no matter how I look, you can change this in Opera OK. Maybe someone can inform us how to do it.
No, i'm sorry, I can't quite puzzle out what they are saying on your link either.
I have got the Advanced Preferences Configuration tool installed on my Firefox and I've carefully gone through all the settings, but I can't see any of the settings related, I'll keep looking, but there are hundreds of settings, so it will take a while to plough through them.
I'll keep Opera open in another window to keep an eye on this site in case some else has an idea.
