Moved My Music to another hard drive

  Desert Andy 20:04 19 Sep 2010

I have moved the My Music folder to my D: drive, since my C: is quite small. Unfortunately, instead of moving the My Music folder to a folder in the D: drive, it just looks directly at the D: drive itself. Is there any way I can correct my mistake and move the My Music folder to a folder in the D: drive .

My Music is part of the My Documents folder, so you would need to move the whole folder to D

This shows you how to do it - read through it first before starting

Thank you,i tried to separate My Music, My Documents and My Pictures. I did My Pictures correctly, and put them into a new folder, just didn't do it right with My Music. Anyway I can correct my mistake?

Can you not just reverse what you did or failing that just create a folder in your D drive where you are being directed to and then copy your music across.
You can download TweakUI from
click here [...] ertoys.asp and when
installed go to Programs>Powertoys for Windows XP>Tweak UI>My
Computer>Special Folders. You can change the location via the drop down menu in the right hand pane.
