Mouse click crazy and can't adjust in Control
Mouse click has gone plain crazy crazy I have tried adjusting it in the control panel tried both ends of the scale and everything in between.
It double clicks at the slightest touch. Which causes problems all over the place specially in Outlook express as the program closes every time I close a mail or mor importantly opens stuff I dont want to.
I am running XP professional Windows and office the mouse is a lofitec optical.
Batteries need replacing?

It may just be the microswitch is duff.
try an old mouse to see whether it is the mouse or pc that has the problem.

Have you had any other probelms at the same time - I have had similar problems (my mouse is a codrless linked to a USB receiver )
I have also had problems with my CD writer not being as quick as it used to be
nope think its just the mouse
