Motherboard Purchase Advice

  Evolution 19:05 28 Jul 2003

My father-in-law is about to embark on a retirement project of building his own PC?

Firstly, can anyone suggest any good links where clear advice is available to assist him.

Secondly he wants to build it around an intel pentium processor. Speed has not been decided yet. Can anyone suggest a good motherboard to buy between £70.00 and £100.00.

Check PCW issue Aug '03 for annual mobo gruop test. I've had good experiences with Abit and Gigabyte.I did once have an Abit that was DOA, but I'm still using the replacement after 2yrs!
