Motherboard fan - easy to replace? Cheap?

  [DELETED] 22:12 02 Sep 2003

Thanks to some advice earlier I've found out that it is the fan on my motherboard that is the noisy culprit. Can anyone advise whethe or not is is easy to replace a motherboard's fan? and also how much do they normally cost?

the Motherboard Fan,,,,, do you mean the processor fan on your motherboard, if so they are pretty cheap but fitting is different depending on which proc you have, some more info might help ie. processor (AMD, Pentium3, Pentium4,) Motherboard etc and also the connections to power the existing fan.

It's the fan on the motherboard itself not the CPU fan. It's the original fan supplied with it. Motherboard is a Asus A7V266-E.
