mother board with integrated sound

if an actual sound card is sloted on to a mother board which has integrated sound on it, will the card overide the mother board sound assuming the drivers for the mother board sound have been deleted.yes or no ??

You have to disable the the Onboard Sound from the BIOS. So it will not work all together, now sound will come through the sound card. If you delete the motherboard drivers then you'll have a system problem as everything connects to the motherboard...

You may also have to move a jumper on the board you will need to check Manual
