moterboard and graphics card

HI ,I have a socket a m810 series motherboard with sis 730 onboard graphics card and would like to know if i could up grade the graphic card and what is the highest i could upgrade to.i have a duron 800mhz 256 ram, windows xp.

can any one please help me here.

The board has an AGP slot and the chipset support 4x AGP so the upgrade will entirely depend on your budget. Decide what that is and have a look at the Top Ten Graphics vards in PCA for a good pointer.

my budget would probley be around £50 to £100 or more i just need a decent gaphics card for games and stuff.

For that price you should be able to get a GF4 Ti 4200 which my son has in his machine and is more than competatant for gaming. A quick look on Ebuyer came up with this click here. I have no experience of this brand and can not recommend or condemn it I merely show it as an example.

Yes but if you buy one of the new 8x AGP it will only work at 4x.
