most compact scanner?

When I travel I take my laptop, but I'd also like to take a scanner....so I am looking for the smallest one I can find....possibly not a flatbed. Is there a small roller type thing I can slip into my briefcase?

Thanks for your advice

If it's for text only, there was available there Siemens Pocket Reader and also the C Pen.

The Siemens product is discontinued but you can still pick them up ate various places. Bit bigger than a pen.

What do you want to scan? Documents presumably. A digital camera would be as small and light as the Pocket Reader or C pen, but would not be limited to just text. You can save documents as JPG images or use OCR to convert them to text.

What did it not occur to me?.....I have a digital camera, so I could use it for this purpose...I am a cartoonist, so I need it for graphics...

Try one about getting images into a laptop (*_*).
