More problems with Xmas e-cards

  [DELETED] 15:29 14 Dec 2003

I was sent a Christmas e-card and I have now had my start page hijacked and advert banners keep appearing especially AMD on the PCadvisor page.I have run Norton antivirus, Spybot and Ad-aware. How do I get rid of this problem. This was a problem on one of the previous threads. I have deleted the e-mail.

Johnnyrocker. Thanks for helping, ive cured the hijacked start page with Startpage Guard as it kept changing but should the AMD banner be across the top of the whole PCA page and it also keeps coming back when i delete it.

click tools/internet options/privicy/advanced

tick the overide button and tick accept third party cookies

log in to PCA and disable the advert permanently using the opt out tab

go back and block the third party cookies you wont get the advert unless you delete your cookies.
