Monsoon 2.1 Speakers

Hello Everyone,

Over the years, Level 9 / Monsoon / Sonigistix have marketed a number of speakers that were well reviewed.

- Which was the most accurate 2.1 system they designed?

- Are there any similar 2.1 PC speakers (ribbon/planar) currently available by a different manufacturer?

- Are there any current 2.1 systems (of any design) that are more accurate?

Thanks!

I've not personally heard them, but I would suggest that highly regarded hi-fi speaker specialists such as Altec Lansing and Harmon Kardon's computer equivalents (which are surprisingly inexpensive) will be as good as any - many Creative speaker systems are also excellent.

click here is one source for the Altec Lansing speakers:

Occasionally on its TodayOnly page at even lower prices.

Hello Everyone,

I'm looking for the most accurate, natural sounding PC speakers. I do not need a speaker that is capable of high volume or is specifically designed for PC games.

Over the years, Level 9 / Monsoon / Sonigistix have marketed a number of speakers that were well reviewed.

1. Which was the most accurate 2.1 system they designed?

2. Are there any currently available 2.1 PC speakers with ribbon/planar satellites by a different manufacturer?

3. Are there any current 2.1 systems (of any design) that are more accurate?

Thanks!
