Having trouble with a screen picture which seems to wobble whilst viewing. Would appreciate any advice which could resolve this matter. Thanks
Try right clicking on the desktop and select properties. On the appearance tab select advanced and look for the screen refresh rate. What is it set to? By the way how old is the monitor?
Thanks.Refresh rate is set at 75 hertz - the monitor is about 3-4 years old.
You are better setting the refresh rate at 85MHz to ensure you don't suffer from flicker.Try degaussing the monitor.
Thanks. How do I 'degauss' the monitor?
It should be included in the monitor's menu.
I would also suggest that you thoroughly check the leads and cables for firm connections to the monitor and that the graphics card is properly seated.
Thank You.Where do I find the monitor's menu?
There will be some buttons on the front of the monitor. You really need the manual as different manufacturers have different OSD formats (On Screen Display).Try the manufacturer's website for a downloadable manual.
Yes; I have found 'degauss' - what do I need to do?
Press it or activate it or use it or select it. Whichever of the options it gives.
