Monitor with built in tv tuner

i am buying a monitor and it has a tv tuner init, do i plug an ariel into the monitor to recieve the piture and also is it jsut bbc 1, 2 ,itv ,chanel4 and chanel5 heres a link for the monitor.

I wold say it's Analog 5 chanal, As it would say if it was Freeview. Yes you need a Arial

It's not stated whether it's an analogue or analogue+digital monitor (i.e. Freeview)

Remember that, if it is only analogue, it will be of no use once the analogue transmitters have been closed down...:-)

Best bet is a straightforward TFT monitor and an internal PCI digital TV card such as the Twinhan DTB-ter D+A or similar hybrid model.

I use a digital TV (15") with a PC input, and I can see no difference between it and my laptop display, though I guess people will say the definition is not so good

It is probably an analogue tuner. You could connect the output from a Sky box or Freeview box to receive digital channels.
