i replaced my old crt monitor with a tft one but now when i look in device manager i have 3 default monitors and 1 plug and play can anyone tell me how to remove the 3 default ones thanks leo

Just right click on them and uninstall them.

There must be a fault on your system if it's showing 3 monitors that aren't plugged in, the only other thing that I can suggest is running SFC /Scannow to see if that rectifies the problem.

i ran sfc /scannow and everything was fine i then disabled the 3 default monitors then uninstalled them rebooted and they were all back any more help please thanks leo

Does it matter, though? Is it impacting your use of the machine? If not, I'd leave well alone.
