I have a 5 year old Dell computer running Win98 and just recently I had to have a new hard drive fitted. I now find I cannot get any sound when playing CDs. The sound card is a Yamaha DS-XG PCI. When looking at the Device Manager the card has a yellow question mark and a message saying the mmdevldr.vxd driver failed to install with (code 2 error). The driver file is shown in c:\windows\system.

Can you please help? Many thanks.
