I know there's a simple answer - but I can't recall what it is.
My task bar disappeared while I was updating my BT connection.

how do I recover it, please?

It may have been set to 'Autohide'. Move the cursor to the bottom of the screen and if the task bar appears then right click and select Properties and take the tick out of the Autohide box.

Tristar maybe it's slipped offscreen. Move your cursor to the bottom edge of the screen and when it turns into a double headed arrow hold down the right cursor button and drag upwards. If you drag up anything you don't want onscreen just reverse this proceedure. ........Peter

I've tried that, but my cursor just disappears.
I checked auto hide, and that hasn't been selected.

Ooops! My fault, I hadn't installed the update properly - all OK now.

Thanks for the help.
