Firstly, what not to do!
There's lots of advice on the net about this type of problem and mostly they recommend downloading their own repair software. There is usually a cost once they find loads of other problems on your PC (scareware) and no guarantee of improvement. So - avoid these.
Certainly, unless you know what you're doing, its best not to try a download yourself. However, this particular problem relates to Creative Live, so you may find that reinstalling this (or better still uninstalling it, rebooting your PC and THEN reinstalling it) will solve your problem for you.
