Mirror Drive

Having suffered a hard drive failure I have installed 2 new identical hard drives in my computer.
How do I make one of them a mirror of the other?

Imaging software such as Norton Ghost, Acronis True Image, Paragon Exact Image etc, will let you either create a backup "image" of your hard drive, which can be restored to a new drive in the event of failure, or "clone" an existing hard drive.

For everyday backup purposes, it is more usual to make regular "image" files, although "clones" would allow you to swap over drives in the event of failure.

Or there is this which will be of less value to you if you are not starting from square 1. It is the system I use. click here
