Microsoft Outlook

Hi,hope someone can help .....

Went to check my e-mails earlier and noticed that the send/receive progress icon was missing from the task bar. I then pressed the send/receive icon only to be told "You don't have appropriate permission to perform this operation" However, I can send e-mails (well one is sitting in my sent-folder anyway).

I have full access to other programs including internet. I should say that I am having problems with a browser-hijacker and can't find a programme to detect it - are the two issues associated?

Download malwarebytes free update and then run it.

After you have run malwarebytes, if you still have problems try running "Detect & Repair" under Help in Outlook.

Thanks for the response's. Have tried malwarebytes to no avail so just tried "Superantispyware" which detected a few bugs - so here's hoping!
