Outlook is basically a contacts programme, tasks, calender, contacts manager, linked in with email. So it would depend what you want it for? If all you want is basic email functions, Outlook Express is good enough, if however you want a stronger Contacs Manager, there are far superior products on the market.

i purchased it yesterday and so far so good, looks great and does everthing i need as far as email is concerned, plus it has a few extras that i didn't expect such as a photo veiwer and resizer for emailing. if i get any problems i'll let you know.

i bought Office 2003 (Student & Teachers Edition) this morning and it works a dream, love the new look, very much in line with XP.

As for Outlook, takes a few minutes to get used to but i think its better than Outlook 2000.

ps... i bought the office 2003 from PC World for ?120 and Outlook 2003 was there for ?105 i think, get the student edition if i were you as it is basically office 2003 standard edition.
