Two neighbours and myself wish to purchase MS Office 2010. Is there any reason why we should'nt buy the three licence edition and put a copy on each of our PC's?

Yes - It is for 3 users in the same household.

Oh dear. Two answers so far and they contradict one another. More thoughts?

It's not that difficult to check MS Office and MS Office FAQ'a

  Legslip 13:02 09 Mar 2012

Thanks all. Looks like Sea Urchin has hit the nail on the head. Might be difficult for MS to administer the policy though?

  KRONOS the First 13:03 09 Mar 2012

What on earth does it matter, if you and your neighbors want to share a 3 license edition then go ahead. I doubt if anyone is going to come a knocking at your door.LOL.

  Woolwell 13:07 09 Mar 2012

Might it cause update problems apart from the moral issue?

  Confab 13:23 09 Mar 2012

You didn;t mention how much you are goint to pay for the software so you might want to check these out first
