Microsoft Contact Problems yet again!

Once again locked out of Skype with a large amount of credit unavailable.

Somehow my whole MS account is corrupt and I cannot sign in.

All the normal password reset features result in a security code being sent. However, somehow the enail address has become corrupt and ends in ".c" not ".com" which is where the codes are sent and I can't access them.

An attempt to use the "edit address" feature results in "This address has already been edited"! impasse

The helpline only gives a menu which a'ways loops back to "reset password", as does any attempt at on line help.

I need Number or an email address that somebody will answer. I suspect it only needs a simple reset operation.

Thanks. That's the one that connects to a looping options menu which invariably leads to a verification code being sent to a corrupt email address to which I don't have access.

Have you tried clicking on 'contact us' at the bottom of the customer services page? You then get a 'virtual agent' and you can type your problem into the box.

I surely don't have to download a special app to ring/email Microsoft?

Your pessimism was justified.

I did speak to a human on the accessibility support line, but after some time he was unable to help, and said he would ask the main support desk to contact me.

They did.

Asked me to to the support desk website, so the wheel turns another full circle.

Not sure where to go from here. Ofcom maybe?

Perhaps a different approach may help. It may be a corrupted profile.

What error message is displayed when you try to sign in?

Have you tried signing in on a different device?

The message, which is a security message rather than an error message, is "We have sent a verification code to [email protected] Please enter the code below".

Of course there's no such ISP as Yanoo!

I have tried other devices and all three main operating systems.

Always end up in the sane loop.

Thought of that. I already have a gmail account, but to use a different account you have to verify using a code sent to Yanoo!

I've even tried to create an Outlook account using the "reset password" link, but this gives an error message "You have already amended this account. Please try again later" I have tried up to four days later, with the same result!

When I say totally corrupted I mean it!
