Hi diodorus.
I have no settings, this is what i was saying about previous operating systems to xp pro. That's how to do it with win98se, if my memory serves me correctly. Not with xp. I can't find multimedia.

I see this problem has not been solved since November 2003 - I have just come across the same error with the same result. Is Multimediae not available in XP pro?

Does this mean yet another fresh install of XP??

Hi Frandis & Santos!
I'd completely forgotten about this thread, i just went for the reformat/install in the end. Feel free to use the thread though!

  SANTOS7 12:56 23 Jul 2004

as long as you have solved your problem thats all that matters, would have been nice to know if options you were given actually woked though for future reference.

Hi Santos, i agree!
See my reply to Diodorus, as i'd heard nothing else i went for the ref/inst.

I haven't worked this one out yet, but I suspect it's in Media Player somewhere.

  SANTOS7 13:08 23 Jul 2004

thanks for that Bratoo, good luck
