Hi allI have (I believe) a ASUS K8V-MX mobo in my Mesh PC (According to their on-line support setup).Question is, can I use a PCI Express Gfx card on it?I've searched ASUS website and I just don't seem to be able to find any definitive answers to this...TIA
If you have a Long Black slot like on the Mobo then you should be able to fit a Express card click hereThe short one looks like a AGP
I'm at work, so can't do a visual inspection...
Hears some card so you know what kind of slot the will fit in. Note the notch click here
If this is it click here its AGP, thats the brown slot near the middle of the motherboard.Best to visually check it though as woodchip has suggested just to be sure.
click hereclick hereclick hereclick hereDoesn't look like it.
Your first link is a AGP slot, so if it's that board then that's all it will take. A AGP
Well spotted that man.
not the answer I wanted, but hey-ho - Thanks for your input.Anyone want to buy a brand new, still in box Asus ATI Radeon 1600Pro XFire 512Mb Gfx Card?Failing that, time for a new mobo :(
