Try restoring your Registry. If you need to know how to do this - click here;en-us;221512&Product=winme

go to Start, the Run box and type in

scanreg /restore

Then hit the ok button, you will be prompted to revert back to a registry file. Choose one when things were working fine and that should solve your problems.

After restoring your Registry you may have to remove remnants of the scum again. Be careful what you delete this time - whatever method you used the first time may render your PC unuseable yet again.

If you cannot even get into Windows then my link will help as you do it from a MS-dos prompt. Otherwise you can use Nite~Star's method.

If you use a Hewlett Packard printer then the share to web folder you mention is installed as part of the software package that comes with the printer. The best way to deal with this is to download TweakUI from click here

You can use this to stop the share to web folder cluttering up your desktop.

As for porn toolbars and other nuisances

click here Spyboy Search and Destroy

Update and run these to sort those out.

To get back into windows ,try booting into safe mode by tapping f8 as the pc boots . If you can, run system restore from there.
