The time has come to do a major upgrade on my pc. Can any one suggest a suitable m/board? I'm looking for something with onboard sound and may be graphics. I use the machine for mainly office and image editing programmes, so super whiz bang graphics are not essential to me. I thought something that can run maybe a 2 to 2.4 ghz chip and at least 512 mb ram. don't want to spend a fortune though, the rest of the machine is current in spec, its just the m/board and chip thats holding things back

Nforce2 boards have good onboard sound and MX440 graphics on the MSI K7N2G-L board is ok,have it on a pc myself.[also onboard lan{which I use} and agp slot.]Costs about £82

Looking again I see you specify 2 to 2.4GHz so perhaps you are looking for an Intel board.
