I have used those in the past OK.

I assume you are fitting it to an old PC as those type of IDE drives haven't been used for quite awhile.

This is an "old" refurbished Hard Drive. Although they warrant that it is perfect.

You have no idea how long it has been used and how is has been treated in the 5 years since it came into their Stock.

I'd agree with wee eddie; personally I wouldn't pay more than a fiver for it although you can't judge a book [a hard drive] by it's cover!

I have just consigned a couple of these to the dustbin as they are too small to be of any use with Win 10 and even though I had been using them purely as back-up drives in an enclosure with Win 7 they had started to become unreliable. They had originally been bought for a Win XP machine so it must have been at least 10 years ago so I am not surprised that they had started failing. They gave good service but they really are old now and I certainly wouldn't even consider one secondhand.

Absolute waste of money.

Manufactured date in photo - 2005 LOL

Obsolete stock! If you want one and are in the UK drop me a PM and I'll see if I got one. You just pay the postage £3
