Maximise IE Window

  david4637 14:50 20 Mar 2003

When opening a new window from a link, the window does not open to a full screen. I have tried suggestions such as using the Control key and X button to close the window. This works for the remaining session, but upon rebooting it goes back to the problem. Any ideas for a permanent fix ( regisrty fix if necessary).

Open the window with which has the link in it. Clink on the link to open a new window. *Drag* this new window to the size you want (maximum), then minimise it to the taskbar. You will now be looking at the original window that had the link, close this original window with the X in the top right corner. Then open the window you minimised to the taskbar, then close this window using the X. Close IE and all windows should now open at the size you dragged that new window to.

"Open the window with which has the link in it. Clink on the link to open a new........"

Should read:

Open the window which has the link in it. Click on the link to open a new.....
