Make folder private

  Lawford 14:49 22 May 2008

The 'help' instructs;
Right click on icon, choose 'sharing and security'.
BUT, the 'make this folder private' is faded out and is not operative.

How does one make individual folders only opening with a password?

Download and install 7 Zip. You can zip the whole folder and password protect it.

Thanks for prompt help.

My C drive and EHD are both NTFS.

Again thanks but I still don't understand why the Microsoft system should be so selective and difficult. Never mind, I have now the solution.
