as long at its under say the 35c your ok.

If you computer has an AMD Athlon I would advsie to add a rear 8cm case cooling fan, also check to see if other internal cooling fans like on AGP card & the Heatsink over the CPU is spining.

Excessive dust will not help in blocked fans. Switch off machine and clean carefully with a Can of the Air Dust spray cans. Do not spray too much as it will freeze things.

what says the board is too hot?check temp in the bios under hardware monitor or similar tab.while there look under advanced or chipset config and set agp to x2 xo x4 or x8 depends on your graphics card what setting is most nowdays are x4.

its best to check in the bios as its more accurate.reboot and keep tapping delete or F1 F2 etc(it should tell you on screen which button to press)once in the bios look for hardware monitor or temperature etc see what it says.30ish for board is normal and i would say anything up to 60C for the processor should be fine.
