M6VBE Motherboard

My system has a M6VBE motherboard P3 500mhz processor and 64mb pc 100 sdram. I upgraded the ram to 128mb pc133 ram and the system seem to be working okay.I then tried to increase the ram up to 256mb using a 64mb pc133 module in slot 2 and the original 64mb pc100 module in slot 3. The system sees the 256mb of ram but while using the pc I get random lock up's. Is there any changes I can make to the award bios to stop the system locking up.

I always find the system is a lot more stable if you use only 1 stick of ram with he desired amount of memory on it. Plus you have`nt told us what os you are using. You could always try runing msconfig and turning off everthing in the start up folder, you can safely turn off everthing execpt systray and explorer.
