why have we to post in a narrow box? Anything over 7 lines and your squinting.

I tend to agree with you spikeychris, the frame to the left is a bit on the wide side me thinks.

Like the fact that you can see the thread whilst you type but the Helproom questions on the left and the poll on the right take up as much room as the response??

  recap 18:28 18 Oct 2003

Personally, I think the posted message is more important than the thread titles to the left. Don't get me wrong PCA the thread titles do have their uses but, could the frame not be halved in width so that oldies like myself with depleting vision can see the post easier?

click here for an example that puts me right off. You have to scroll........

Hi Chris, I like the new clean layout and after a couple of days to get used to it, I still think it's a big improvement. But agree that the centre column is far too narrow.

I'm viewing at 1280x1024 on a 17" TFT and using only a quarter of my screen to see the main part of the site and just under half to see all of it. ;o(

"You have to scroll........"

For ever and ever........

im using 800x600 on a 15" monitor and its very narrow for me too.thread titles to the left dissappear up the screen after the thread has more than four or five posts to it and just leaves a big white space to the left, would be good it they scrolled down with the screen. :-)
