Loud noise coming from PSU

So after about an hour of use, the PSU in my pc starts making a loud sound. It sounds like it's coming from the fan. I wondered if it was perhaps catching on something in the case, but after taking it out and looking I saw this wasn't the case. Does anyone know what the issue could be and how to solve it??

There are no user-accessible parts in a PSU, and the only moving part is the fan.

If yours is making a loud noise, there is obviously a fault - probably in the fan bearing, and the only solution is to replace the unit.
