log off window

I recently had a problem with my internet connection and had to reinstall internet explorer.

I used to get a window that invited my to stay connected or disconnect my modem when I closed internet explorer but it does not come up now.

I can't find it now to reactivate it.

Where has it gone and how do I find and reactivate it.

Thanks Smegs,
Thats not quite what I'm after.

The window that I meant should pop up after the internet program is closed automaticlly.

To restore Auto disconnect IE 6

Open Internet Explorer, click on ‘Tools” and open “Internet Options”

Click “Connections” tab, open ‘Settings’(next to Dial up connections)

In “Dial up Settings” open “Advanced” - put tick in the box “Disconnect when connection may no longer be needed”

Close all windows with “OK”.

This should do the trick.
