live bios

I have a msi kt400 motherboard i want to update my bios but i don't have a floppy drive.How can i do this ? I've tried live update but it only shows dos mode and asks for a floppy it shows windows mode but it is greyed out.Is there a way i can flash bios without a floppy

Think about why you want to update the bios, remember'If it ain't broke, don't fix it'. There is always a risk that when you update the bios, you end up with a very expensive door-stop.

Have you tried downloading the bin file to the hard drive and then browsing to it with live update.I cant remember but i think live update lets you do that from within windows,as well as checking the www for bios updates,it has been a while since i used it though.

Bu i agree with terryf,if you dont need to do it dont bother.
