Linux on a wireless broadband network.

Have just installed suse linux 9. Would like to set it up to work with a Belkin USB wireless access point currently connected to the pc so it can connect to a workgroup and speak to my BT Voyager 200 wireless modem/router to connect to broadband connection.

Am a total linux novice but reasonably competent with windows and home networking. Any advice or pointers gratefully recceived. Am aware that Yast does not seam to be recognising the USB access point, or I have not enabled it yet?
