lexmark paper slipping prob

  [DELETED] 22:10 13 Dec 2003

I have a lexmark 3200,It has given me no problems till now.
When starting to print it cant seem to load the paper, the warning says paper empty reload to continue or similar. But even when manualy feeding the mechanism goes through the motions but it still doesnt feed through without perseverance.
Do the feeder wheels need a clean?
Any ideas would be appreciated. The lexmark web site doesnt show this problem.
Thanks all in advance.Geoff47

Dont know if this is relevant but on an earlier printer I had I was getting similar problems and eventually found it was due to a biro falling into the paper opening causing jams, paper refusing to be accepted etc. Might be worth checking, HTH TR
