When moving figures from Ledger (accounting software) to Excel, the numbers in ledger that are negative move over to Excel with the sign on the right (-1234 - reads into Excel as 1234-). I would appreciate it if anyone could let me know how I could use one of the Excel functions to read a number and also pick out if it has a negative on the wrong side then copy the value correcting the number to an Excel negative it is does have this misplaced dash or just the same value if it was a positive number.
I have looked and can find nothing that seems to do this conversion.
