latest windows update affecting browsers

I use chrome and the edge browser and they are both set to delete everything when closed , since the last windows update this does not seem to work.

I discovered this by accident , I started to type the name of a site and both browsers started guessing what I wanted , example , I pressed letter p and they put up pc advisor that I had previously been on in an earlier surfing session , they also put up the names of websites beginning with the letter p that are in all my short cut folders , this has never happened before.

Resetting browser defaults and using ccleaner has not stopped this happening.

My wife and myself don't have any browsering secrets but we both now know what each of us has been looking at.

Why don't you have separate password protected User Accounts? Each of you can then log-in to their own account and will not have access to the other's account unless they have the password.
