Laptop Power Supply Voltage

The power supply on my Toshiba laptop died and I have replaced it with one of those universal power supplies. MY Toshiba requires 19 volts but the power supply can deliver either 19.5 or 18.5. It is working ok on 19.5 volts at the moment. Is there a chance I could damage the laptop by using 19.5 volts when it should only be 19?

Shouldn't be a problem, as the internal voltage regulator on the laptop will iron out anything above what it really needs.

Thank you amonra, I really appreciate your time and effort.:)
