Yes you should have a VGA connection at the rear of the laptop but you may need to press a key combination (Fn+ F7 on mine) to activate it
Connect the monitor to the black or blue VGA connector and using the “FN” key (Function) and the “CRT/LCD” key look at the top of keyboard “F” keysHold down the FN key and press the CRT/LCD key onceDisplay will change as followsPress once laptop display onlyPress again external display onlyPress again both laptop and external displayYou must hold down the FN key each time you press the CRT/LCD keyDepending in the size of the monitor you will have to adjust the screen resolutionright click on windows desktop-properties-setting
